NOX: Daily Discipline

Support

Practical help for your daily practice.

What is NOX?

NOX: Daily Discipline is an iOS app for daily motivation, practical missions and building consistency. Explore editorial statements, save favorites and follow your progress. English and French are supported. NOX does not require an account; preferences and progress are stored on your device. Premium access is subscription-based.

Which plans are available?

Premium offers a monthly plan without a free trial and an annual plan with a 3-day free trial for eligible users. Apple determines trial eligibility. Check the price and trial shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation before approving. If you are not eligible, the annual plan starts as a paid subscription. See our subscription terms.

I paid. How do I restore access?

Connect to the internet and check that the App Store uses the Apple Account used for the purchase. In NOX, choose Restore Purchases on the subscription screen or in Profile. Wait for the result. Restoration checks existing access; it does not start a new purchase.

If no active subscription is found, check its status in Apple’s subscription settings. If access is still missing, reopen NOX and retry, then contact support with the error text. An expired or refunded purchase may not grant access. Restoration does not recover local progress or create another trial. See Apple’s restore-purchases guidance.

How do I cancel or request a refund?

On iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NOX. You can also open subscription management from NOX’s Profile. To avoid trial renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Deleting the app does not cancel billing. See Apple’s cancellation help.

Apple handles App Store refund requests. Follow Apple’s refund instructions; approval depends on Apple’s policies and applicable law.

Why is subscription verification unavailable?

NOX checks subscription access through RevenueCat and Apple. A connection or service problem can prevent verification, even for a subscriber. Check your internet connection and retry. If the app says purchases are unavailable, do not repeatedly approve payments; send support the message and app version. Do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step because local progress may be lost.

Why am I not receiving reminders?

  • In NOX’s Profile, open notification settings, enable reminders and save a frequency and time window. If the window is too short, widen it or reduce the frequency.
  • In iPhone Settings → Notifications → NOX, allow notifications and check alert and preview settings. Focus modes or Scheduled Summary can delay or hide alerts.
  • NOX does not show a notification banner while it is already open in the foreground. Times that have already passed today are not replayed.
  • Reopen NOX after several days away, or after changing language or time zone. Reminders are scheduled for a limited number of days ahead and need replenishing; higher frequencies cover fewer days.

Reminders are local notifications, not a live message service. Their exact display time is controlled by iOS. For fewer reminders, adjust the frequency; to stop them, turn them off in NOX or revoke permission in iOS.

How do I change language or preferences?

Open Profile and select English or French in the language section. Personalization settings let you review your goals and preferences. Reminder frequency and hours have their own notification settings. If saving fails, follow the displayed message and try again; a change is not confirmed until it saves successfully.

Can I recover progress on another device?

NOX has no account-based progress sync. Purchase restoration and progress recovery are separate: restoring Premium does not transfer your favorites or mission history. An Apple device backup may restore app data depending on its contents and your settings, but NOX cannot retrieve it from a server. Deleting the app can remove local data; offloading and deleting are different iOS actions. Read our retention and deletion information.
