Who we are
NOX: Daily Discipline ("NOX") is operated by Paolo Guidicelli, rue pere eudore devroye 86, 1150 woluwe saint pierre, belgique. This operator is responsible for the personal information processed to provide NOX. Contact: sirlebossgzg@gmail.com.
This policy explains the current iOS app, subscription services, support correspondence and these public pages. NOX has no account or login. The app does not ask for or collect your name, email address or phone number.
Information on your device
NOX stores the information needed for your experience locally on your device:
- Language, onboarding choices and completion, selected goals, challenges, desired outcomes and content preferences.
- Saved quotes, assigned daily content, completed missions, dated completion history and progress or streak information.
- Notification preferences, including whether reminders are enabled, frequency and time window, together with local scheduling records such as planned times and message content.
The current app does not upload these preferences, favorites or progress to a NOX server or send them to RevenueCat. There is no NOX account database or app-operated cloud synchronization. Device backups managed by Apple may include app data, depending on your device and backup settings.
Apple and RevenueCat
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles billing and payment details; RevenueCat manages purchase validation and subscription access for NOX. NOX does not receive your full payment card details.
RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription information, including the product purchased, transaction records, subscription status and an anonymous app user identifier generated by its SDK. NOX does not supply a name or email address as that identifier. “Anonymous” here means it is not a NOX login: an identifier associated with purchase records can still qualify as personal information.
These records support subscription verification, access, restoration and subscription reporting. RevenueCat can provide purchase-related reporting; this is distinct from installing an app usage analytics SDK. See RevenueCat’s Apple privacy documentation. Practices NOX does not use
NOX has no advertising, advertising SDK, separate app usage analytics SDK, social features or user-generated content sharing. The app does not sell personal information, use cross-app advertising tracking or collect a contact list. It does not operate a remote notification server. Local notification scheduling records are not proof that a notification was viewed or delivered.
Why information is processed
Local information enables personalization, progress and reminders. Purchase information is used to provide the subscription you request. Information you send to support is used to respond and resolve your request.
Where European data protection law applies, the relevant bases are performance of the service contract for requested features and subscription management, legitimate interests in responding to support and protecting the service, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. Those interests are subject to your rights. Notifications require your iOS permission and can be disabled at any time. Giving notification permission is not consent to advertising or tracking.
Recipients and international processing
Apple and RevenueCat receive the information necessary for their respective purchase services. Support correspondence is handled through the operator’s email service. Information may also need to be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal rights. There is no sharing of local progress with a social network or advertiser.
RevenueCat is based in the United States and may process subscription information outside your country. Its processing on behalf of app developers is governed by the relevant service and data processing agreements. Applicable international transfer protections, rather than acceptance of this policy alone, govern transfers where required by law. Contact us for information about applicable safeguards. Retention and deletion
Local preferences and progress remain on the device while the app’s stored data is retained. To remove that local data, use iOS’s Delete App option. Offloading an app can keep its data. Copies in device backups may remain and may be restored; manage those through Apple’s backup settings. NOX has no account to delete and cannot remotely access or erase your local progress.
Deleting NOX does not cancel your subscription or automatically erase Apple’s or RevenueCat’s purchase records. Purchase records may remain as necessary to administer purchases, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes or prevent fraud. Their retention is governed by applicable obligations and provider arrangements; it is not tied to how long NOX stays installed. Support correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to handle the request, related follow-up and applicable legal obligations. We do not maintain a separate NOX server archive of your local preferences or progress.
Notification controls and device privacy
You can adjust reminders in NOX and revoke notification permission in iOS Settings. Messages are scheduled locally. Depending on your iOS settings, their contents may be visible on the Lock Screen; you can change notification preview settings. Turning reminders off prevents future scheduling, but may not remove notifications already displayed by iOS. Protecting access to your device also helps protect locally stored information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, receive a portable copy of or restrict processing of personal information, and to object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. You may complain to your competent data protection authority.
To exercise a right, contact sirlebossgzg@gmail.com. We may request the minimum information needed to identify the relevant record and verify the request. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions, including required purchase record retention. We cannot retrieve device-only data remotely. A privacy request does not itself cancel an Apple subscription.
Children and families
NOX provides general motivation and discipline content and is not designed as a service directed to children. It does not request a date of birth or verify age. Parents and guardians should consider the App Store age rating, content and purchase controls before allowing a child to use the app. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us, for example in a support email, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action under applicable law.
Support emails and this website
If you choose to contact us, your email address and whatever you include in your message will be processed to answer you. This voluntary correspondence is separate from the app’s local data. Please do not send passwords, full payment card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
This website is hosted using Sites at nox-legal-support.satiny-hen-2444.chatgpt.site and delivered through Cloudflare. NOX does not add advertising, audience-measurement scripts, forms or marketing cookies to these pages. The hosting infrastructure processes technical request information, including IP addresses, browser and request information, to deliver pages and protect against abusive traffic.
Cloudflare adds security JavaScript and may set the __cf_bm cookie for bot protection. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Security challenges may also use cf_clearance to record a successful check. These security features are separate from NOX’s local app data and purchase management. Cloudflare’s retention criteria include the purpose of processing and applicable legal obligations; its policy does not give one retention period for all technical records. Cookie expiry is not a server-log deletion deadline. Processing may take place outside Belgium, including in the United States, under applicable transfer safeguards. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
